7. Search Preferences (SEO)

Meta Description → Add a short 150-character description about your blog.

Custom 404 Page → Optional, add a friendly error message.

Custom Redirects → Redirect old URLs to new ones.

Crawlers and Indexing:

Enable Custom Robots.txt (advanced users only).

Enable Custom Robots Header Tags (NoIndex, NoFollow settings for certain pages).

8. Monetization

AdSense → Connect your AdSense account (once eligible).

9. Site Feed

Allow Blog Feed → Full / Until Jump Break / None (Full is good for SEO).

Post Feed Redirect URL → If using FeedBurner or other feed tools.

10. Theme & Layout

Theme → Choose and customize with fonts, colors, and gadgets.

Layout → Arrange sidebar, header, footer widgets.

Favicon → Upload a small site icon (16×16 px) for browser tabs.

11. Privacy & Indexing

Pro Tip:

After setting up everything, write at least 3–5 posts before promoting your blog so visitors see content when they arrive.
